Sometimes, I just miss how things were. I miss your laugh & smirk. I miss our friendship & how close we were. I miss sharing our love for banana peppers & music. I miss your flame. I miss your heart. I miss how easy it was with you. I miss your encouragment, Now you’re with her; & I can’t help but feel somewhat responsible for how you turned out, from what you were when we first met- as you told me I helped you change. So, I am glad, that you are who you are, in spite of everything. It’s funny thinking that I helped you get where you needed to be. To me, that is beyond anything I could have done. That is love without expecting it in return. That is what we are meant for. It was never just about me. It was about where you needed to be. And you helped me along the way, too. Thanks for the memories. I’ll always miss you now that you’ve moved on…
